Morning:  

8:30 AM – 10:30 AM Student Registration, Entrance

9:30 AM – 10:00 AM Rubik’s Cube Competition, Auditorium

10:00 AM-10:05 AM Welcoming Address, Auditorium

10:05 AM-10:15 AM  Camping Trip and College Readiness by James Kim, More than SAT

10:15 AM – 10:30 AM The Mystery of Mathematics Speech by Noah Aydin, Kenyon College

10:30 AM -10:45 AM  Day Overview & Instructions to Testing Rooms, Auditorium

10:45 AM – 11:00 AM Students Report to Testing Rooms, led by Proctors

10:50 AM- 11:00 AM  Proctors Meeting in Testing Room 1 (First Floor and Second Floor)

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM Multiple Choice Test: 90 minutes in Testing Rooms

11:00 AM – 11:15 AM Math in Higher Education by Joan DeBello, St. John’s University (Auditorium)

11:15 AM – 12:30 PM Students Testing, Parent Break

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Pre-Order Box Lunch for Sale (Concession Stand 3)

 

Afternoon:  

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Pre-Order Box Lunch for Sale

12:30 PM – 1:15 PM Lunch, Free Pizza for Participants! (Hallway Auditorium)

1:15 PM – 2:00 PM Game 24 in the Auditorium

2:00 PM – 2:15 PM DJ Ryan Entertainment & Break, Auditorium

2:15 PM – 2:45 PM Tom London Performance in the Auditorium

2:45 PM – 2:55 PM Announcements: Photo Contest & Social Media Winners

2:55 PM- 3:00 PM Speech by MathCON Director, Ayhan Caputlu (Auditorium)

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Awards Ceremony in the Auditorium

O’hare Airport (14.5 miles)

Public transportation is accessible and goes directly downtown.

Midway (9.8 miles)

Taking the cab from Midway to UIC will be the most convenient.
