Dear Prospective Sponsor, it is with great excitement that we announce the MathCON Nationwide Math Competition. With its goal of promoting math education nationwide, MathCON received unprecedented participation since 2008 with 250,000 students from 2,500 schools in 50 different states and Canada. Since 2008, more than 200,000 students have participated.
About MathCON
During the competition, students participate in the regional level online test (the first round of the competition) in their own schools with their teachers. Students from all types of schools, including home-schools students, can take the test at their own schools under the supervision of their own teachers or parents. The top one percent math champions in the online round in grades 4-12, from around the country, will be invited to the Finals which will be held in Chicago, Illinois .
The MathCON online test questions require ingenuity and insight, but little technical knowledge beyond grade level mathematics and includes problems of varying degree of difficulty that enables all students to be equally challenged.
We believe that every student has the potential to shine in science, math, and engineering, and therefore, we encourage every school and their students to participate in MathCON.

Our mission is to offer engaging and distinct opportunities for 4-12 students to participate in a national mathematics organization to advance their interest in, and knowledge of, mathematics education.
Our vision is to accelerate the standards in mathematics education and to become a leading organization in paving the way of the 21st century generation problem-solvers.
